Everything you need to prepare for your appointment, heal properly, and protect your permanent makeup results.
These instructions apply to Powder Brows, Nano Combo Brows, Hair Stroke Brows, Cover-Up Brows, and Touch-Ups.
Avoid coffee and alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the brow area.
Thirty minutes after your appointment, gently wash your brows with the green soap provided by Cristal. Apply a very thin layer of the provided healing ointment—just enough to lightly cover the brows without looking greasy.
For the next 7 days, gently wash your brows every morning and night with the provided green soap. After washing, apply a very thin layer of the provided healing ointment.
Avoid exercise or heavy sweating, swimming, sauna or steam, direct sun exposure, makeup on the brow area, and picking, scratching, rubbing, or peeling.
Your brows may appear darker at first. Flaking and temporary fading can happen during healing. Color may return gradually, and every client heals differently.
Follow these instructions before and after your Lip Blush appointment to support comfortable healing and the best possible results.
Drink plenty of water and keep your lips well hydrated.
Gently exfoliate your lips 1–2 days before your appointment.
Apply Aquaphor, ChapStick, or Vaseline Lip Therapy every night for 3 nights before your appointment.
Arrive with clean lips and no lipstick, gloss, or other lip products.
Avoid coffee and alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
Tell Cristal if you have ever had cold sores or fever blisters.
Mild swelling, tenderness, and darker lip color are normal during the first few hours and should gradually decrease.
Keep your lips clean and apply only a thin layer of the recommended aftercare balm.
Do not touch your lips with unwashed hands. Do not scratch, exfoliate, peel, or pick at flakes or scabs. Allow them to fall off naturally.
Avoid lipstick, makeup, or lip products other than the recommended balm.
Avoid very hot, spicy, salty, or acidic foods.
Avoid kissing or direct contact with the lips while they are healing.
Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, steam, and excessive sweating.
Avoid direct sun exposure.
Drink plenty of water. During the first 24–48 hours, use a straw when drinking beverages that may touch or irritate your lips.
Once your lips are fully healed, protect them daily with an SPF lip balm.
The color may appear darker at first and become lighter during healing. Final healed results are usually visible after approximately 4–6 weeks.

Arrive with clean eyes and no eye makeup.
Remove contact lenses before the procedure and bring glasses if needed.
Avoid coffee and alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
Do not attend with eye irritation, an infection, a stye, excessive tearing, or inflamed eyelids.
Tell Cristal about any recent eye procedures, eye conditions, or prescription eye medications.
Remove all eyelash extensions before your appointment.
Mild swelling, tenderness, and darker color may occur during the first few days. This is normal and should gradually decrease.
Keep the treated area clean and dry. Do not touch, rub, scratch, or pick at any flaking or scabbing.
Apply only a very thin layer of the recommended aftercare ointment, if instructed. Do not apply other creams or products directly to the treated lash line.
Avoid mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and other eye makeup.
Avoid eyelash serums, creams, or oily products near the treated area.
Avoid eyelash extensions, lifts, or tinting until the area is fully healed.
Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, steam, and excessive sweating.
Avoid facials, chemical peels, and treatments near the eyes.
Avoid direct sun exposure.
You may use a clean, cold compress for a few minutes to help reduce swelling, but do not place ice directly on the skin.
Sleep with your head slightly elevated during the first night.
Wear glasses instead of contact lenses if your eyes feel irritated.
The color may appear darker at first and will soften as the area heals. Final healed results are usually visible after approximately 4–6 weeks.
